The Country Chicken
Egg Care

To keep eggs at their freshest, collect them several times a day and refrigerate them immediately. Also keep the nestingboxes clean by changing the nesting material often. Eggs can be kept safely for 2-3 weeks in the frig. Never use an egg that has a broken or cracked shell. Avoid washing eggs because it will remove the protective outer layer. This layer helps slow moisture loss and keeps bacteria from entering the egg.

Eggs

Egg Drop Soup
Prepare Mrs. Grasses Noodle Soup as directed on the package.
Then add as many eggs as desired into the soup, break up the yolks
and stir occasionally until eggs are fully cooked.
Enjoy!
